The idea for CupcakeFetish arose one snowy February afternoon when Violet was visiting her parents in Virginia. Faced with one of those unignorable cupcake cravings, Violet tried Google searching to find a cupcake vendor in her parents' large metropolitan city. After half an hour of searching without any luck, Violet grumpily e-mailed her friends "Why aren't there any cupcake directories online??"

Luckily for Violet, she has some extremely talented friends, each of which had a critical skill necessary for bringing the idea to fruition. With their PhP, SQL, statistical analysis, and graphic design skills combined, the CupcakeFetish team was able to create the internet's most comprehensive online cupcake directory and review website. Each cupcake is rated and classified on over 70 different attributes, providing for the most scientifically accurate and consistent reviews possible. Currently there are 9 active CupcakeFetish Critics scattered around the United States and Canada.
